Picture is also somehow "calm" (not expert on topic sorry) and reading text and articles more pleasing than any other display I've owned. This display is my absolute preference for editing code.

U2410 supports also most of the popular home computers. E.g., it can sync down to 15 kHz used by Commodore Amiga and I can connect my homebrewed Nintendo Wii to it wihout any VGA/HDMI adapters.

Finally, it's pretty useful as a kernel hacker have one display which is guaranteed to work if there is anything at all working in the other end ;-) Just one display model to watch out for if comes up somewhere.
