So the Czech train has a WiFi connection which at least works, but:
- It shows a 30(!) second ad on login with no option to skip it.
- It uses an effective MTU of 1200 bytes, which is less than the minimum 1280 required by IPv6, so it breaks v6 connectivity completely.

So yeah, better than nothing I guess. But still, why? :/

@toke The only way to stop people from rolling out bad internet is to make sure it breaks for the normal users. Have google switch to IPv6-only for a day in the month that half-breaks when you don't have an MTU of at least 1492 or so. Have YouTube give priority to higher MTU values.

And have speedtests properly test IPv6 connectivity. Warn users if their internet may cause problems.

Push it trough consumers who complain and may make financial decisions based on that. Make it financially hurt.

@namedbird yeah, I would be all in favour of that. Not holding my breath, though ;)

@toke i think that it would help a whole lot if speedtest.net starts properly testing IPv6 connectivity.

Would you happen to know anyone who has direct or indirect connections there?
