Great I finally did it. I separated my inbox and kernel.org. I used subscript before. Should have done this ages ago :-)

I use kapsi.fi account for this as that inbox has no other use ATM.

I also scraped MEGA and Fastmail and moved my personal stuff all-in Google's death star blobcatevildevil

@jarkko So, 40€/year gives you Finnish hosted email or just a smart SMTP at kapsi? De-googled email is my next large chore next year.

@andrew I had "in a way" the same angle as you, when I moved my personal stuff to my Google account. I trust Google more than typical AI companies so it is least scary AI subscription for me :-) And since it has vast amount of storage (was it 10 TiB if I recall correctly) it made sense to consolidate storage, AI and personal email into same basket.

Another Finnish non-profit service I have is iki.fi account (since 2000) and one nice thing in Gmail is that it allows to specify identity together with associated SMTP server in the webmail.

I've been the most of happy with Gemini Flash recent releases and like it over any other AI agents. It's predictable and stable.
