Does anyone have experience with e-ink display? I have phone with one (Lilygo T-Deck Max), and I would prefer not to kill the display. @mkyral ?

AFAICT display should be good to cca 5e6 updates, which should be few hours for blinking at 60fps, few months for updates each seconds, and few years for updates once a minute...?

Is there anything else I should be worried about? AFAICT leaving unchanging image on is not really a problem?

@pavel @mkyral You don't have to worry too much about that, it doesn't degrade that fast and, yes, leaving and still image is absolutely not a problem.

Just keep in mind that if you see ghosting its's nothing to be concerned about and you should just do a full refresh if you don't want it
