@fossdd well, the only real issue I've encounter, is with flatpak, I got this whenever trying to install or remove a repo. And Gnome Software wouldb't show flatpaks because of this I suppose.

I had to add the flathub repo with --user. Once i've done that, flatpak are showing in the Gnome Software Center

Also the OSK is really limited, do you know any good OSK close to what we can have on Android phones?

@krafting Welcome to the club! I personally enjoy Phosh over Gnome Mobile, but that might just be because it was the first UI I daily drove so it has a cozy quality to me.

@krafting

About the OSK, the OSK on gnome mobile is very limited but afaik in the future (tm) it's getting overhauled completely.

I can recommend the OSKs available for Phosh (squeekboard & phosh-osk-stub), they are quite majured.

@krafting @fossdd That's a known bug. A fix is being worked on and should be released soon!

@justsoup Yeah it seems way better for Mobile than Gnome Mobile is for now (I know GM is experimental and that was to be expected ahah)

@fossdd I'll try Phosh next so I'll try their OSK then!

Can't wait to see the GM OSK being overhauled too.

@justsoup Okay, awesome thanks for the info !

The batterie level also seems to be a bit weird, jumping from 68 to 72 then to 69 to 71%, I just hope it's almost accurate (not being 71% in the UI but 10% in reality ahah)

@krafting Yeah. Phosh was built from the ground-up to be a sort-of spiritual "GNOME Mobile". Thus, it is tailored exactly to the mobile factor and is mobile-first. GNOME Mobile is literally GNOME ported to work on a phone and handle all the quirks that comes with that. Two different approaches to reach the same goal.

@krafting That is most likely either a kernel bug (I don't know much about that device's support) or the battery is just being weird. I would *assume* it is similar to the actual amount but you might just have to test that.

@justsoup Yeah of course, I'll see how more usable Phosh is then!

@justsoup Yup, we'll see how it goes. I'll see it really fast if it's not the real level!

@krafting Vendor kernel or mainline kernel? Working wwan is no longer unusual, but working cameras would be nice.

@pavel No idea tbh, I'd say somewhat mainline ? but don't quote me on that, I've just installed using the tutorial, for the more technical stuff I do not possess the knowledge at the moment!
