Todavía estoy aprendiendo español, pero no entiendo porque esta respuesta es incorrecta. 🤔

¿Me puedes ayudar?

@major the second verb is current, even in English. The thought is happening now. Yours is more like "I will think (about) throwing a party."

@deoan Thanks. This one really made me do some head scratching.

@major "pienso" is like the colloquial English "I recon" here. "When I find an apartment, I recon to throw a party" is how that sentence would go in English, and you won't use an "I'll recon" for the same reason you won't use "piensaré".

HTH.

@captainepoch @major estoy lleno de sorpresas. :)

After you learn French, Spanish and other romance languages become more like a bonus side-quest.

@alex @major @deoan I’m not sure to agree. Because you are currently thinking (present tense) to throw a party once you get a new apartment. For this reason the suggested answer is correct IMO.

@alex oh, I see. Yes, I agree with you that "pienso" is not "I will".

@javierm @alex I appreciate the thoughts here. I expected someone to say "dude, you made a mistake" but it sounds like this is a little more nuanced.

@major @alex it is! And to be clear, even when grammatically not exactly correct, it did convey the meaning of what you meant. We also make a lot of errors as non-native English speakers and you still are able to parse our sentences 😀

@monsieuricon @major No, I mean pity. French... just sucks. Spanish is better (and awesome) blobcatsmilehappy

@monsieuricon @major Personalmente, no me gusta el francés. Lo tuve que estudiar en el instituto y no entendía nada...
