@drewdevault Relatedly, if anyone knows any reason _not_ to use porkbun, I'm currently leaning towards it :P

@drewdevault I have't registered domains with them yet because of stupid reasons, but I have other contracts with Hetzner and they're excellent business-wise.

I hope this is not the toot that unveils a mountain of shit about the company I didn't know about xD

@drewdevault namecheap has thus far not done anything evil to me.

@drewdevault (actually I kinda doubt OpenNIC has a robust abuse handling system, either.)

@monsieuricon @drewdevault Agreed. I've been using namecheap since 2019. No evil detected yet.

@drewdevault
Namecheap or porkbun in my opinion. But also, anything but godaddy.

@codonell @monsieuricon @drewdevault Can vouch for lack of evil in namecheap after 10+ years as a customer. Slightly irritating that certbot lacks support for automated DNS renewal through its API, though.

@Conan_Kudo @codonell @monsieuricon @drewdevault The most irritating thing is they don't offer registration sync, so you can't pay everything all together.
