@prasket Honestly... While I use it daily with the keyboard case, a used OnePlus 6 should be cheaper and a way better overall experience (except for no camera support yet, maybe, and the whole convergence thing).

@prasket PinePhone is something that works well. But PinePhone Pro is quite different.

@linmob @prasket Dunno. I have OnePlus 6 here, and while it is fast, dealing with the Android to boot is not exactly fun. It takes 3 tries to boot or so... and due to oled you have little feedback. Plus, audio does not really work in Mobian, nor does USB host, and I doubt cameras ever wills. I'd hope PinePhone Pro might be in better shape... PinePhone certainly is in better shape.

@pavel I am not saying the OnePlus 6 does not have issues; admittedly I have not used Mobian on it, as I've been happy with postmarketOS. But at least you can use it more than two hours with screen on.

(Yes, the PinePhone Keyboard can help, but it's huge, not for everybody, and ... prone to breakage. Just check my post from yesterday.)

PinePhone is in better shape, but depending on what you want to run, you may run into issues due to the device being slow + the MALI 400 issues.

@linmob @prasket I guess you should try Mobian and I should try pmOS :-). Yes, power is likely better on op6, as is performance. OTOH booting on Android device only works for me sometimes, and stuff like USB otg, camera is not working.

@linmob @prasket Actually, to make it short. PinePhone has hardware issues, and OnePlus 6 has software issues :-).

@linmob @prasket @pavel

The biggest problem with OP6 is call audio not working reliably. So you never know whether, after you pickup the call, you'll hear something or not. Or whether the remote party will hear you.
