@mjg59 hm, volume? I remember adjusting the head's position within the tape's width with a tiny screwdriver, on the C64 cassette unit.

@vbabka @mjg59 we were fancy with our datasette! The Brits with their Spectrums had to use a normal take deck.

(I had a tape deck that was meant to be used with those computers, but I only used it to play music, I never understood why it had the counter, and how did it end up having a mic input until years later!)
