It's a rapid flicker that happens occasionally but frequently enough to be annoying.

gonna try Aurora to see if the same happens with plasma, because I don't see anything in dmesg to strictly indicate that it's some kind of driver problem.

@monsieuricon what's your GPU? AMD had a bug with similar symptoms on some recent kernels.

@smlx Intel Wildcat Lake (xe driver). I'm going to test with 7.2 now.
