You never know from what direction the QA will come to you. I maintain my own PBX to aggregate multiple lines for a home phone, and an unknown person tried to call when I was outside. They left a voice mail, and I didn't get a usual email notification until I noticed a blinking LED on the phone. Listening to a voicemail resulted in nothing but an error in PBX logs. Apparently, I forgot to update a DB table schema to accommodate recent changes. Also, as it turned out, emails were not sent because I made a mistake in msmtp config. And it turned out the QA who made me look into all this was a neighbour of my wife's grandmother who phoned to tell us that the home phone of my wife's grandmother was not functioning because monthly payment was missed.

@vbabka I bet modern child monitors run Linux kernel v2.4 some flacky proprietary WiFi driver, and suffer from bufferbloat.
