Dear Europeans. The last time we tried fascism, it failed really horribly. This time it's not going to be any different.

@monsieuricon not what you're saying at all, but that sounds like there is a way to succeed at fascism 😬

@WindOfChange no argument there, but right now it's actual EU citizens who keep voting in fascist governments.

@monsieuricon @WindOfChange driven from the american propaganda directly from silicon valley.
Besides one of the greates fashist movements is maga and in argentinia they voted an "anarchokapitalist" so i really dont see a "european Problem" the christofashist movement and a lot of rightwing conspiracys comes out of amerika.

And the propaganda from russia

@monsieuricon

It drove Europeans who were Jews to buy land from natives in Palestine. It later became Israel. Judging by the number of comments from Europeans condemning Israel for doing what they would want their governments to do, it seems like Europe never gave up at the last attempt at fascism.

@monsieuricon

I think it will be different. I think that because of the connectedness of modern society, it will be worse.

@monsieuricon I truly hope you're right. And hopefully without the need for a huge war.

@monsieuricon yeah but not before millions died... or is that what you are driving at?

Its like selling Fiats in America. We have to wait until the generation that remembers dies off then we try again.

@monsieuricon Depends what you mean by "failed" - the haters got what they wanted, large numbers of the people they hated were killed.

@monsieuricon

What do you mean "we tried" and "it failed" in the past tense?

It was a failed state in 2016, and it's still a failed state failing continuously like a cartoon character hitting his head against the wall in a GIF loop.
