Tried Turris Omnia as an access point (not as a router). Works fine, but my frankenwifi doesn't seem to be worse. Will put it back into the box as a backup.

@vbabka It was actually a donation from one very big corporation as an encouragement for my occasional kernel work. They had some budget, I maxed up my working rig first, and for spare decided to order this toy too. Having a backup is never a bad idea, eh?
