What is good way to make give a nonsense answer? Try a well-known riddle, but change it significantly. It really works, this is what I got now πŸ˜€
Such a simple riddle could be part of a test "prove you are a human".

@amarok "What is good way to make #ChatGPT give a nosense answer? Ask it" :-). I mean, its way too easy to trigger that. It is language model, not question answering machine, after all.

But here the question was clear and very easy, not a nonsense question. The problem is simply that the AI model wrongly associates it with a completely different context. It proves that humanity cannot and should not rely on "live" results from , we should use it only to get static answers which someone checks later manually.

@amarok I had chatgpt wrongly answering very trivial questions. I had it wrongly answer multiplication. "I like number 18262797032237." (bla bla) "How much is 147892347 times 1234871?" Pretty much every answer from #chatgpt is obviously wrong or subtly wrong, some are dangerously wrong. Still its useful if you "use" it right. Asking questions is not right :-).

@amarok #chatgpt is often wrong even when you are not trying to trick it. "Does chinook have tail rotor?
Yes, the CH-47 Chinook helicopter is equipped with a tail rotor. The tail rotor is a smaller rotor located at the tail of the aircraft that is used to counteract the torque produced by the main rotors and to provide lateral stability and control. The Chinook's tail rotor is mounted on the right side of the tail boom and is driven by a driveshaft that extends from the main transmission. The pilot controls the tail rotor using the tail rotor pedals, which are located in the cockpit and allow the pilot to adjust the pitch of the tail rotor blades to change the direction of the aircraft." ... Asking #chatgpt in a way that gives useful answers is kind of art :-(.

Good point. Well, then let's all agree to stop call it if it's not even able to do simple logic πŸ˜¬πŸ™ˆ It's obvious that it's just a bunch of data thrown together with algorithms to connect and export in an imperfect way.

@amarok @mkyral I said this before: When someone says "AI", it is clear they don't know what they are talking about.
