Well, Tokyo. 9 hours flight, no water available. People squashed, but some (regular, non-premium) seats empty. In middle of the flight the attendant woke up me, I can pay for this seat or get back from seat D over isle to C. Of course the lady there was sleeping, so she woke her up so I could fit back to my original seat. I've flew with low-cost airlines before, but this is worst. At least they have 32kbps , so I can complain as I enjoy the experience...

It gets even better. She got back and put printed and laminated A4 "NEED TO PAY FOR CHANGE SEAT." Holy-cow.

@okias Airlines have wide powers to harass passengers :-(. But "lets take their water then no provide any" is quite nasty. At some point, regulators should step up.

@pavel Taking away water is pure harassment. I learned it due trip to India, where they have no problem with you taking water on the plane.

If they want to verify it's a drink and not some acid for security reasons, you could ask the person to take a sip from the bottle while passing the checks.

@okias I'd settle for "here's a sink you can pour water in" and "here's safe tap water you can use"... but agreed. Keeping people in very dry aircraft air without water is not ok.
