@martijnbraam Aha, so you are aware of that work, good. I'm currently busy with some work and BangleJS smartwatch, but hope to get back to that. This really needs to be done in libcamera.

@martijnbraam Hi! If you want autofocus, AE, and AWb take a look at millipixels application. It is fork of your megapixels (thanks a lot!), but it has that stuff (+ hacky video recording). A _lot_ of improvement is possible, but basics are there.

I even have patches to libcamera to do AE. Unfortunately they are hacky and merging tuff to libcamera is not easy.

@martijnbraam "You're either destined to work on everything alone or work on projects that are large enough to make 90% of the time spend the internal politics." There are some projects that are in the sweet spot. Midnight commander used to be one of them, Bangle.js is one such project today. https://github.com/espruino/BangleApps

Got Geeksphone Keon to play with (thanks!). It is interesting little device. 120 grams, old and cheap, but should do wifi tether and is good size. Not replacing my droid 4 anytime soon, but it may get its SIM card.
