a) Cameras are actually working (but it has unusual setup)

b) It has video out

(It has other features that are not so great).

@APBBlue Well "just move to Europe while you still can" may actually be good advice. We'll see in few years.

And yes, moving to Linux ASAP is good idea, too, because it may get harder with time, too.

@quarkslab Well. Actually, three bugs. "The bugs can be triggered by an attacker controlling a local unprivileged process." You have to get shell access, first. And maybe more, because we don't normally let "nobody" user talk to gpu and v4l2...?

@jbz Its true that there are too many monopolies in phone ecosystems. If Jolla got more common, that would be good. But Windows Mobile would also be an improvement.

I believe it is neccessary to say that Jolla is less free than Android. You may want to check Maemo Leste or indeed Phosh-based distributions.
