@brauner it's just a random person with a lot of bad takes and a huge hatred for LF (some of it justified, if you approach everything from the free software purist point of view, but most of it is just taking everything in bad faith). I don't want to link to his site, but if you search for his name, you'll find where that article came from.

I only know about it because it blipped on the "kernel.org media mentions" alert that I have.

@corbet Oof, I can only imagine! I didn't really "miss" him, I just haven't run into him ever since I'd stopped visiting the blue site.

I was mostly amused by the mental picture that someone could "pry Pine out of Linus's hands and force him to use webmail."

@monsieuricon @corbet I don't know what was more painful for the brain - "read" his "post" (let's "quote" everything because "why not"?) or try to navigate through the amazing user-interface of his few websites.
