@lkundrak nah I get to cheat in the book and only cover _some_ things so was always going to cover SLUB only :P I can now add a justification 'Vlastimil Babka - the most active maintainer of slab - has lost his god damn mind and is deleting code left, right and centre, so the only safe course is to discuss the one remaining allocator, SLUB, while it lasts'
