I've had an awful couple of weeks which has culminated with the death of a loved one. She had a very long life (in her 90's) and it was not unexpected but still very sad.

Trying to keep that British stiff upper lip but it can be challenging at times. She was closer to my aunt's family and I hadn't seen her for many years, but I have cherished childhood memories of her and her late husband.

This is about the only traumatic thing over the past couple weeks I can talk about but rest assured about every major part of my life has teetered on the brink of collapse over this time (not exaggerating, literally).

Sometimes these things come all at once... and nobody issues you a medal or a smiley face badge for getting through it.

I have at least one possibly good bit of news tomorrow that I'm not sure I can talk about yet (or if there is anything to talk about) but here's hoping there's something good lately.

@ljs continued rays of support! A lighter strip on this zebra of life will surely come.
