@vbabka told me that I shouldn't use roundup or a petrol mower.

Sorry bro.

@ohjames @vbabka I love glyphosate! Works really well.

I mock the weeds as they die.

My garden is huge so electric mowers die quick... petrol works so much better

If it helps there's about as much CO2 from that as farting

@ljs @ohjames @vbabka I'd suggest animals to "mow" your lawn, but they'd probably survive as long as the electric mower because of the Roundup...

FWIW I bought the accu toys from this photo a month ago and the brush cutter with these batteries lasts a similar time as what I could do with my cousin's petrol one which I had borrowed before (and that was around 40-50 min of work, during which the double charger should recharge the other pair of accus)

@djasa @ohjames @vbabka my mower seems to go on forever on petrol.

On battery, not so much. For smaller stuff like this with small talk I guess the trade off makes more sense.

My strimmer is battery powered!

@ljs I didn't expect the endurance, it was a pleasant surprise. I chose it just because of the noise, stink, petrol logistics and my lack of experience with keeping those little petrol engines reliability working even after long pauses (especially when they experience long pauses, I don't live here permanently).

That being said, the only petrol-powered tool that I would buy is snow blower, if the snowfall doesn't dwindle by the time it's fully winter-ready here. ๐Ÿ™‚

@djasa @ohjames @vbabka bro petrol's great.

My mower stays in a shed the whole time, unused over winter, and 'just works' afterwards.

Sometimes there's a minor worry about explosion/fire/death but it's fine.

I mean it probably needs oil at some point, LOL
