@kernellogger at cccamp last year some kernel devs did merge request review on printed out lkml emails (which came from an endless paper printer). 🙂

A few minutes ago (aka: support) support landed in mainline, as Linus honored the PR that Tglx handed him yesterday in person (see first toot in thread): https://git.kernel.org/torvalds/c/baeb9a7d8b60b021d907127509c44507539c15e5

But well, I'm sure the git tag was signed, so nothing to worry. 😄

3/ Side note from a former editor/writer: kinda fun that a few media outlets already ran "Real-time Linux is officially part of the kernel" stories in the past three days, when in fact it is only the case since about 6 hours ago… 🧐 😲 🤷

I'd say it *is* official for now - but yes, that can change quickly again any moment until 6.12 is out. 😄 😟 🥴
