@xbezdick @pony Yes, SP is not just pension. But should getting old be covered by an insurance after all? In my understanding, insurance is a protection against something that may or may not happen while getting old is inevitable. So why not detach classic pension from SP and make that part of the contribution optional? I also understand that current pension contributions include not only my future guaranteed pension, but also pensions that are distributed right now (I think this is called the solidary part?), hence only a subset of this can be detached.
