These stories along the lines of "breaking news: gives up on 6-year LTS and goes back to 2 years of support" are kinda funny, as this is widely known since early February:

yeah, he mentioned it, then Steven Vaughan-Nichols picked it up[1], and that story afaics inspired a lot of other media outlets to cover this
