@mairacanal hellllo tenting! I'm not a doctor (I've been legally told to say this after I tried to sell @lkundrak witch doctor supplies to summon Rhesus the ape lord, sigh), but I found my unacceptably bougie keyboard has made a big difference to RSI, as has my even less acceptable mouse.

Welcome to the world of normie-shock keyboard hipsterism! Your tendons will thank you for it

@lkundrak @mairacanal oh hail rhesus and oppose opposable thumbs! (also a good way of avoiding RSI) 🍷

@ljs @lkundrak Man, I want a display that big 🀩

I have two Ultrawide displays at my other house and I really miss them.

@mairacanal @lkundrak they are godly I swear it is so nice to have...

I may have spent a wee tiny little bit too much on that though.

Definitely not something I keep doing all the time or anything

@ljs @lkundrak I mean, you just sold the only healthy kidney you had, but it's fine.

@craftyguy It's really comfortable after you get used to it. In the beginning, I thought it was quite big for my baby hands, but I got used to it. Now, I can't see myself with a non-ortholinear keyboard.

@mairacanal ya I know what you mean, this is my 3rd ortho but I remember the first time I basically had to relearn how to type for a few days πŸ˜…

Not sure if you've looked into trackballs, but they also helped my wrists/posture. I have a "classic " trackball that I put right between the two keyboard halves and it's a great setup for me!

@craftyguy I really had to relearn typing haha, I thought that I was really stupid πŸ˜‚

I did AgileFingers exercise for a month to reach a solid 85-90 WPM.

About mouses, I have a Logitech MX Master 3S that helped me to reduce a pain that I had in my thumb.
