I sometimes in our modern world miss a tool or two from the X11 days – like an equivalent for "setxkmap" to quickly change the keyboard layout, no matter what wayland compositor you are using.

But no, I definitely don't miss anything of what this new project from the AppImage creator wants to provide: https://github.com/probonopd/wayland-x11-compat-protocols

@kernellogger I mean, why wouldn't you want your web browser process to receive all keystrokes you type into any other window? Or be able to copy anything out of the clipboard at any time? That's just being greedy!

Just extend the sandboxes that firefox already uses internally and also sandbox firefox, problem solved. 🙃 🥴 😬 😂
