For all the fuckeries in the world tech is amazing _right now_ insanely better than it was even 10 years ago.

And believe me there were fuckeries in the past too. I literally used windows ME when it came out. Microsoft Frontpage. Old school websites were so bad you can't begin to imagine... my space back in the day, my god, list goes on.

Modern cars are a wonder compared to old cars, I mean yeah. List goes on.

You can go further back and find the exact same sentiment in all eras by people in their 40's and beyond, it's like a fucking disease of people who never bothered to reflect on themselves or lacked the intelligence to do so.

In the US for instance JFK and (vomit) 'Camelot' was lauded as this magical time, except if you really look into the shit JFK did it was fucked, he wasn't a very nice man (sorry) and wasn't an especially brilliant president.

But as you hear people WHO WERE YOUNG AT THE TIME it was a magical wonderland...

Or the idiots who are of my ilk talking as if the 90's were some magical brilliant time. LOL.

It was nice to not have such reactionary bullshit to everything all the time (due to lack of social media basically) but the rest was so much worse.
