Linux kernel hacker and maintainer etc.

@kaiengert @egnun @thunderbird Appreciate the GnuPG integration but the main reason I've never used TB is that it lacks native support for configuring external text editor. There's some addons but they really are not really in production quality. Neither it has a default of using fixed-width font for plain text emails (or I have not found it) so in its current state it is not a great choice for reviewing patches.

@jjdavis I've read some scientific publications for my entertainment that discuss about changes in brain in case of absolute power. in about 7'ish years there's actually irreversible physiological changes in the brain, which means that literally anyone can become a tyrant in the right circumstances. ultimate power is a drug that can screw up brain chemistry just like any other drug.

@jjdavis price of trolling: 40 billion :-) some people have expensive hobbies. twitter's value has shrunk with a record breaking speed

@wamserma tbh security questions should be banned from this planet. it is a backdoor as a feature, and nothing else.

@jjdavis That makes me wonder why he is then hangin' out at the borders with a stetson like it was his business in the first place, which is sort of consistent tho because he also seems to have lot to say on Ukraine's borders. He should focus IMHO on SA's borders and let others take care of their own business...

I always wonder why in politics admitting that you got something wrong is the most epic failure you can ever make. Politicians are dishonest because public hates politicians who are honest sort of. It is a weird and wacky world we're living... #politics

@liw @mjg59 TBH, liking Linux would be a disadvantage for a kernel developer ;-)

I would apply this only for the first patch tho when in need to backport a feature and go through manually for the rest in order not to miss too many details but the first bump can be rough.

I've probably lost at least weeks of my life of not looking up a single command-line option from a man page.

@jjdavis And found a new way to insult my friends from US ;-) Just speak about Musk as he was a US citizen.

Maybe #ElonMusk is betting to be a future #president using the same exploit pattern as #Trump?

väärä ohjeistus. niihin pitää laittaa sellaiset vastaukset, joita ei itsekään tiedä. itse arvon pitkän (> 128 merkkiä) merkkijonon, jota en pistä muistiin. valheisiinkin liittyy psykologisen päättelyn riskejä.

@miiko @antisocial Luulen että tämmöisestä malatan kynnyksen joka paikassa (jopa Commodore 64:llä) aukeavasta urlista on etunsa työnhaussa suhteessa suttuisiin PDF-eksportteihin :-) Näin ainakin tahtoisin uskoa.

slowly looking for job: https://jjs.kapsi.fi/jarkko.sakkinen.cv.txt. my fixed-term will end September 2024 but since I want to find a place where to commit for multiple years, it is better to start early.
