jarkkoHave had couple of chances recently to try out #typst:
- Slides to fuel a discussion in a meeting with a partner company of the #SocHub. I used #polylux for this (comparable to #beamer).
- Internal documentation for SocHub geared towards debugging and developing system software stack.
Typst is really a game changer tool as I really can stand neither WYSIWYG word processors nor Latex. I’m next using it write a CV/resume, which is currently in #markdown to get proper layout and typography for it.

Any good 27 color palette's? only well known palette i know is amstrad cpc palette.
i use dracula in my text editor but bitwig has 27 color palette's. would be nice if these theme designers would define a number of different granularity palette's that are "compatible".

only ace because focus is on learning renoise and it is the simplest synth that i know, which can do modern psytrace'ish bass by using lfo as an oscillator (to get phase knob) and using multiplex module to multiply envelope by itself to get even more snappier attack than snappy... and it also has 3-pole filter ..and the remarkable sound quality of everything u-he does

@polarity the only thing i'm missing in bitwig is a real wavetable editor (i know there's oscillator where you can draw a curve for wave but more like working with an array of single cycles style). i find it a bit weird that the there is a vast amount wt synths these days but only a few of them offer editing capatiblities. feels incomplete work to me... if a wt synth does not want to provide an editor, at least they could provide "render to osc" like serum does. of course optimal would be if daw itself would provide this but i've never seen this feature in daw so far...

@troglobit actually if a junkie stole from me about that 50 euros I would most likely not report because of human compassion shit :D I guess such person needs the money more than Bezos...

Yeah, I just thought that I could actually do it if the outcome is zero. Amazon is huge but I can sue their Finnish subsidiaries. It is in the end all same to me whether a junkie or Amazon pickpockets my money. You should report to authorities if that ever happens I guess :-)

@dangoodin @arstechnica @AAKL I'm happy to admit that I was wrong. Here it is not just about limitations tho of applicability. Besides the highly access controlled R&D labs I could imagine educational institutes using PXE for perhaps computer classes.
Even in Universities, the research groups that work with private sector usually the valuable R&D work is protected with planned security policies and access control. Probably a network that could be hacked with PXE vuln would be broken to start with and there would be multiple exploitation techniques in the toolbox.
In the end even for black hatters robbery is business and you tend to prefer tools and techniques which are hard to detect and easy to turn into profit in high volumes.

@troglobit so i got refund but it required threatening with criminal charges. Overall weird customer experience. I've been mostly happy customer so far (and still do respect that Amazon does not sell individual customer data to 3rd parties). Amazon has made cost savings in logistic chains a science of its own but taking money without giving the product is where I draw the line :-)

@AAKL @arstechnica @dangoodin E.g. consider common ways to do remote attack such as taking advantage of memory error and/or finding RoP (return-oriented programming) chain to implement an exploit. Those happen all the time and nobody gives a dime. If you find such issues in JavaScript or browser engine you can make them "drive-by-shooting" by injecting them e.g. to an ad banner. That sort of stuff actually worries me not stuff that happens in R&D lab :-)
