As mentioned in the previous post, we've had to change plans from our original plans for September 2024. To avoid future conflicts with ELC Europe, we're now planning on ER for Spring time, and plans are now shaping up for the next edition in Spring of 2025 in Nice France! We're still finalizing the venue and dates, but will announce here has soon as things are finalized.

@llvm I'll be at the Seattle show, but didn't ever imagine I could've gotten tickets that way.

GCC 14 was released on May 7, 2024. BayLibre’s Compiler Services team contributed 72 commits by 7 developers to this release, despite being formed only in January! This includes xtending the AMD GPU target back end for consumer hardware, adding OpenMP 5.1's 'indirect' clause for using host function pointers on the target, extending the OpenACC 2.7 support, adding OpenACC 3.2’s memory routines in Fortran, and more. -- https://baylibre.com/baylibres-contributions-to-gcc-14/

Unfortunately, will have to change our plans for 2024. The Linux Foundation (LF) has made a late change an announced a "mini" Embedded Linux Conference (ELC) in September, which is when have had ER for the last 5 years. This overlap would cause us to compete with ELC for attendees, speakers and sponsors, which would not be good. for ER. We are scrambling to work on alternative options so stay tuned. -- https://email.linuxfoundation.org/exciting-updates-and-additions-to-elc-and-eoss

@trini It's more cheap than clever, but I've used a few different types of USB relays over the years but bang-for-the-buck, this 16-channel relay for < $20 USD is hard to beat. I run 5V (and/or 12V) from an ATX PSU through these to a bunch of DUTs. It does require making some custom cabes, but these have been very reliable for me. -- https://www.sainsmart.com/collections/relays/products/16-channel-12v-relay-module
