If you're only starting out with paracord bracelets, one thing you will quickly realize is that a lot of fancy patterns you will find online result in really thick strands that feel bulky and awkward on your wrist. I've tried many different patterns and I still mostly make the simplest "cobra knot" ones, plus the slightly bulkier "chain knot" bracelets that happen to be my usual go-to design -- they look good and aren't too much thicker than the cobra knot ones.
