@jamesbelchamber @mattdm @jbowen @sjvn I guess you could say that when it comes to the Linux kernel development world, I *am* kind of its secretary. :)

@sjvn @mattdm @jbowen This is the great lie of the GTD method. "If it takes less than 5 minutes to do it, do it right away" means all emails that take more than 5 minutes to handle just pile up throughout the day to the point where I have no mental coherence left to deal with them.

So, you either get stuff from me within minutes, or you may not hear from me ever again until you re-prod me.

@jbowen @mattdm I mean, some of these are so old, replying to them would be just embarrassing, so I do think that some of these 192 will get the "delete of shame" treatment.

@mattdm People tend to get grumpy when I do that. Don't know why.

@shenki @meso I am convinced that wikis don't make sense for most online documentation, and Mediawikis least of all. If someone is still convinced that they need a wiki these days, they are likely just going through some mental checklist that hasn't changed since 2005.

An actual documentation management platform like RTD that is backed by a git repository makes so much more sense. Plus maybe a Q&A platform. Not a wiki.

Lots of wikis got murdered today, including git.wiki.kernel.org. The remaining mediawikis are actually used and I can't just murder them outright. :)

Augh, I need to get my inbox debt down. If you emailed me and I haven't responded, I'm really sorry. I'll try to fix this asap.

If you have a choice of becoming Alan Turing or Elon Musk, always choose to become Alan Turing.

Elon Musk would call for the prosecution of Alan Turing for violating the Enigma manufacturer's intellectual property rights.

@yuri Hmm.. no, never mind, I can't make anyone show up as verified Torvalds on github, because this requires a record on the github side of things.

Okay, I will give this some extra props. However, as instance admin I can still speak for anyone who is verified on my instance, so you're still never sure who is really speaking as "verified user."
