@jmlich @nenos @PINE64 @JF For the record... I'm slowly improving SDL port of Espruino, I'd like to run it on cellphone, too, would like to try to port it to AsteroidOS and it would be cool to run it on PineTime. I may even attempt that if good emulator appears and I can get it to work.

@monsieuricon From what I seen (people having two phones to do duolingo better, I guess), Duolingo should be classified as addictive, along with alcohol, cocaine and Facebook...

@JF @nenos @PINE64 True, Bangle.js2 has 256KB RAM. There's Bangle.js (1) that has 64KB RAM -- nRF52832 SoC and runs same software stack (but has some limits B.js2 does not have). It does not have full touchscreen and I have not seen it, but it means Espruino should mostly fit into PineTime.

@nenos @JF @PINE64 Actually no, it is not. Bangle.JS 2 is the best, as it has always-on display, Pine Time is second! :-). And yes, lot of difference is software, and it would be cool to see Espruino ported to Pine Time, to make application development easier. @mkyral Ja bych chtel prece jen neco programovatelneho. I kdyz ano, Amazfit Neo se mi hodne libily, vcetne toho klasickeho LCD displaye. Skoda, ze nesly programovat. (A teda, na BangleJS si taky nestezuju, ono pro segmentovy display by se neprogramovalo snadno.)

Earliest sunsets in SF: last night and tonight, at 4:49:44 pm. Tomorrow's will be two seconds later.

"But Jef," you ask, "it's not the solstice yet. How does that work?" I'm glad you asked! The solstice is the shortest day, but the earliest sunset and the latest sunrise are offset from it in opposite directions because the Earth's orbit is slightly elliptical. Sunrises are still getting later by about a minute per day. They will continue getting later at a slowing pace until January 4th/5th.

@ozzelot And actually... some dumb Motorolas were well reverseengineered... to a point of running custom GSM stack on them. If you put bad apple there, I guess I may even try to buy one :-).

@Mab_813 Well, the fact that president tried to pull a stunt like this means he was hoping it would work. It is good it worked out, but it is not exactly sign of stability. Trump was able to get mob to attack capitol, but was not able to order army to do so. Still not great sign of stability, but less so :-).
