Projizdim kolem Novy Paky a snehu ubyva... tady by to na bezky jeste asi bylo, ale uz jen tesne. Myslim ze tuhle zimu si zlutak tahani bezek nezopakuje :-(.

@thibaultamartin Another advantage was that Palms were simple. You could run Palm software on Pi Pico, Esp32 and similar stuff. These days, Espruino / Bangle.js2 may be targetting similar devices... and I see value in that.

@bart Well, software development is hard. Hardware is hard as well. Some people buy cheap hardware and do the development themselves. That's PinePhone, and that's ok. Some people want to sponsor development, so buy from Purism. That's also okay. Of course software developers won't agree with each other _how exactly_ to do the development :-). But mainline Gnome is slowly getting phone support, and so is KDE (AFAICT), so things are moving in right direction.

I noticed #Librem5 can not do emergency call without a SIM card. That's quite ... dangerous. Tradition is that emergency calls are permitted even without known password, because, well... emergency. I guess that may be tricky to implement with full disk encryption, but calling ambulance without SIM card should be possible.

Skrabal jsem se na Petrasku. Autobus v 14h byl chyba... zapad slunce jsem videl pri stoupani nad Spindlem, a pak byly krasny hvezdy. Pocasi bylo uzasny, snih uz min. Do toho zvoni telefon, pak zvonit prestava, ale na display vidim zaroven ze teda prichozi hovor. Tak ho beru, a rychle rikam ze jsem ok ale nemuzu mluvit... Mezi tim vidim vypinaci animaci, ale hovor stale drzi, takze stiham jeste rict ze jsem pul hodiny od chaty. Nastesti celovka vydrzela, podarilo se mi udrzet lyze na moste, a na chatu jsem ve zdravi dorazil.
Takze posilam pozdrav z Krkonos. Kdyby nekdo pozdravoval/zkontroloval zlutaka, budu rad.

@agx I'd like to be able to send / receive smses and work with calls on Mobile. I guess I can send sms directly using modemmanager, but would need to interface with Chatty to read sms-es. Is it okay to directly read them from *sql database? Or should we have interface for that? dbus? Or simply add a command line option to dump last few messages in json?

@davidoclubb @duncan_bayne @Luigi311 @peja Trouble is this is not only coding, but also research, and camera calibration. We'll need to find parametrs such as lens shading and camera conversion tables for cameras we'll want to support.

@Luigi311 @duncan_bayne @davidoclubb @peja Cameras are hard :-(. For still images, you should be able to improve still picture quality without using ISP. Video is even more complex. Look at #Megapixels (and maybe #libcamera / #libobscura). Help welcome.

@martenson Uvest lidi v omyl nebo vyuzit ciziho omylu nelegalni je. Pokud se tvari jako eshop, nelegalni to je, protoze oni nic neprodavaji, ale sprostredkovavaji prodej.
