So my flights returning are turning out to be even more fraught than flights in...

Rerouted due to flight delay which means I'll miss my connection, only for that flight to get delayed so I'll fly to Dallas which is at least in the right direction.

And all flights full there so likely I will be stranded overnight... :))

Lessons learned, next time make sure to avoid connecting in US, but if you have to leave big layovers.

Also never, ever trust skyscanner to book you travel, ever.

@ljs ugh, yeah, customs and immigration in the US is a mess with a connecting flight. I book all my flights directly at the airline these days but even then rerouting can be hit and miss.

I made the connection by luck because connecting flight was delayed too...
