I find the framing of treating this like addiction (because it is) and therefore how you'll never stop being one (because you won't) very useful.
Actually helps you forgive yourself a bit internally and not expect to reach a nirvana of never wanting to overeat shit or something.
It also helps me keep focused on the whys (I want to build a great physique, which means going from a terrible physique to a bad physique to a plump physique to a bog standard ok physique to a decent one to nice to great, and to get there you put in work)
