#fediverse has also #extremist's but you are not just bombarded with the garbage, as there is no proprietary algorithm controlling your #feed.
my feed looks more like a coffee break room at an office than a bathroom wall at a drug den, which is the standard in centralized platforms.
still, such proprietary algorithm could be active at a portion of the fediverse, e.g. if #instagram #threads joins in but then it is more like a shopping center in a city, which is much less harmful.

@FinchHaven referring to the point when elon originally bought the company, an IT company that was already loosing profit. and he laid off people like it was tesla or spacex. i would call that a suicide mission...

@FinchHaven for me this reminds on how #nokia handled its crisis. nokia sold phone subdivision to microsoft, and only licensed the required patents but kept all the IP ownership. sometimes you have to give what the greedy hands what they want to take away from you, if the price tag is decent...
