Hmm... it may have been just our infra due to a very high query volume. After a bunch of hastily added fail2ban jails, we should be able to reduce this back to normal.

I'm always baffled about the process by which hacking victims find the git-security mailing list and decide that it's where they should send their pleas for help (and, less often, threats of reprisals).

I was honestly expecting it to be much worse today than this. I got hit right on my cheek bone from close distance, hard enough to momentarily black out. I did apply ice almost immediately, so perhaps that made all the difference. Or maybe the worst of it is still to come in the next few days.

My crazy week is over. I've been to Vancouver, gave a talk, came back, went to a tri-district scout camp, played some silly scout games, participated in a travois race, and finally came back home, all merely in 6 very full days.

Next week, quiet times.
