Umpiring youth baseball games is very much like writing free software. Most of the time you feel great for contributing your time to something that clearly benefits everyone, but every now and again some dude comes along and tells you that you are shit and all of your decisions were wrong.

@markusl I have central air with a good filter in it, so we just run it continuously and the air inside the house is fine.

@torvalds yeah, I know this is fairly routine for the West Coast, but it's not something we're used to seeing in the East. Though we probably should find ways to cope, as this will not get better over the next decades. :/
