We’re seeking input from maintainers as we design a fellowship program pilot. We want to test a support mechanism that addresses structural issues in the FOSS ecosystem, and support maintainers who work on open digital infrastructure in the public interest.

If you maintain open source projects, we would be very grateful if you could take ten minutes to respond to the survey:
https://survey.sovereigntechfund.de/968766

Please also repost and share with FOSS maintainers you know. Thanks!

@briankrebs If someone is watching, you have to make it look like it was your intention all along, because, uh, doing it correctly the first time would have actually dropped you into an "under duress" fake environment.

I see saying-gif-wrong people have infiltrated the new Dune movies. We, original Lynch movie snobs, will be in this corner pronouncing "bene gesserit" the only true way it was supposed to be pronounced.

If lore.kernel.org was slow for you this morning, this is because the fscking tiktok bot crawler hit it 1,813,470 times over 10 hours.

Journos reporting Russian "election" results: I have a large bridge for sale. And if there's any doubt that I actually own it, you can talk to my department of truth officer, staffed by this lovely sock puppet.

My 13-year-old is writing Tetris using an assembly language they invented in Scratch (because x86 assembly is "too much"). I may need to get them a risc-v board soon.

@wyatt8740 kinda like me and quantum computing. I know that someone named Hadamard invented a superposition gate. :)

Look, you have to fight fascism NOW. Oppose it everywhere in any way you can and see fit.

The longer you just sit on your arse the harder it will be.

You WILL have to fight them.

And it will get violent.

This is a truth.

It's a hard truth to accept; I grapple with it myself.

But defeatism now will only lead to the camps. Not for other people; it will be YOUR way to the camps.

Believe you me: it is that fucking simple, and it is that fucking true.

It's in the history books. Plain, true and simple.

The Nazis could have been stopped around the late 20s early 30s. Later on, resistance meant certain death.

You will not be able to switch sides or go "under cover". They have lists, and if you are - by whatever fate of whatever God - are not on those lists, they will put you there if they need someone there. And fascism always needs someone on a list.

Fight them now! Fight them in whatever way you can.

You will have to fight!

Some of you know today as π-day.

But the real insiders know that today is the 30th anniversary of the 1.0 release of Linux.
