Me: I need to insert a newline in this list of items... Is it shift-enter or ctrl-enter?
Thunderbird: AHAHAHA, it was the other one!

@jwildeboer The congress can also pass sanctions -- I'm willing to bet he's just kissing Putin's ass but we'll see new sanctions being applied anyway.

@sendpaws @nyanide @gregkh Meanwhile, a T-800 with an Austrian accent running 4.1.15-1.1381_SKYN12nnmp wants your clothes, your gun, and your bike.

The funniest thing is that @gregkh would be totally "Yes, switch to version 6! All must upgrade!" :)

@nyanide @gregkh Clearly, if something doesn't work on a Google Pixel, it has no reason to exist any more. :)

@brenns10 oh, it's not aimed at me. Usually, what happens, is people find out their devices have been compromised, then search for "hackers email" or something like that and click the first email address they see on the page. Usually, helpdesk for the kernel, git-security, etc.

My productivity tool HyperTimer has gotten the first stable release!

If you suffer from ADHD and keep blowing your time budget, this one might be of real value to you.

It does help me myself in my work, and I want others to benefit from that as well.

@llvm I'm not really skeptical, I just really don't want AI taking over my fun hobbies, too.

Me: Phew, I can finally close my IDE, where everything is trying to shove some kind of AI down my throat, and work on my baseball registrar duties for a while.

@corbet @pdp7 @skobkin I have nothing bad to say about masto.host. We used them in the days of kernel.social and they were great.
