Very much experimental, but git-bug views are now enabled on git.kernel.org:

Have we decided if Josh Law is a bot or not? I have a linux.dev account request from this entity.

In a few minutes I get interviewed by Shuah Khan and might answer questions from the audience if we have time: https://www.linuxfoundation.org/webinars/lf-live-maintainer-series-my-life-as-a-linux-kernel-developer-and-maintainer-with-greg-kh-and-shuah-khan

It will be recorded for playback later as well. It's part of the great Mentorship video series that Shuah has been putting on for years, the back catalog is deep: https://events.linuxfoundation.org/lf-live-mentorship-series/

@corbet No-no-no, this is not the wonderful kind of snow. It's the nasty clingy wet-and-melt-right-away kind of snow.

@oleksandr I was making a joke that is probably too obscure for anyone not from late 80s USSR.

@musicmatze git-bug can actually bridge to github and some other forges, so you can have a github view of your bugs as well.

"b4 bugs tui" is a textual tui wrapper around git-bug that bridges mailing lists and git-bug for a local-first bug tracking experience.

Coming soon to the b4 master branch near you.

@jani @ljs @corbet It buffs your rΓ©sumΓ© pretty significanly.

@corbet @ljs This is only going to get worse, because the cost of entry is super low and the benefits of getting your name into the Linux kernel are pretty high.

@ljs @jani @kees @corbet no worries, I'm not pointing a finger of blame or anything. :) it's not a domain name we use publicly, but it's not a secret or anything. It's mostly used by Fastly, so it can leak via bad redirects, or some search engines discovered it via the ASN records in the cert.

@ljs @kees @corbet @jani Hmm. How did you get that origin.kernel.org domain? Did something redirect you there?
