@monsieuricon @markusl FWIW: I did that for a year or so, but found that having a proper air filter appliance for the bedroom helped a lot. Might just be my horrible Northern California HVAC, though (we don't even have the AC part...)

@codonell FWIW, I just use `git clean -dfx` everywhere now -- half the time it's more reliable than `make clean`, and it's almost always faster.

@bwh most of the cheap ones I run into are HDMI as opposed to DP, but otherwise it should be pretty easy to find a multi-port dongle. I've had a handful and they generally seem to work acceptably, I just buy the cheap no-name stuff.

@jangray @tommythorn @shac auipc also has some issues from the SW side, it messes with alignment so it's much harder to share the high-part when addressing.

@bwh do you mean just one of the multi-port dongles, or an actual dock that the laptop snaps into? There's a bunch of options for multi-port dongles, the IT folks at work give us these Dockteck ones that seem to work fine. I've also found the Thunderbolt 4 hubs way more reliable than TB3, in case you need the extra bandwidth on top of USB-3.

Thanks to @jstultz for showing that the monstrosity of USB A-C-A with a magnetic C connector in the middle actually works! Saves me constantly having to plug/unplug my microphone and camera every other day into my well-worn USB hub.

John did it much better with one less adapter than I so this stack could be smaller if needed, but this is all I could find locally.

Don't usually like talking about things I've done, _but_ v6.5 should contain a "soc maintainer handbook" that I've written. My naive hope is that it is at least a help towards getting people going with maintaining the new platforms that are popping in RISC-V land.

Apparently the Digg "algorithm", back when it worked, was one human being?

I've seen a few lists of "do things that don't scale" success stories, because VCs and founders love to write up survivorship bias success porn, but I'd be much more interested in a collection that included both successes and failures so that you could at least attempt to figure out what differentiated the successes and the failures.

@conor @tommythorn Anything based on 5.10 is pretty scary, probably best to just wait for enough HW to show up that folks can get things moving upstream. Is this one also Allwinner?
