Riding horses, hacking computers, phones and smartwatch.
@ben Play stupid games, win stupid prices. Why does everyone believe that sabotaging LLM development is cool?

Looking for infographics... My horse knows R+, but people around him don't. Easy solution is "do not feed him, use R- as usual", but that is not quite optimal. Is there infographics or maybe short text explaining basics, such as "don't feed when he's mugging you", "give him cue, then bridge, then you can feed", "instead of escalating pressure, just talk to the owner"...?

Facebook started sabotaging mbasic.facebook -- any idea how to get around that? I don't really like extra memory usage from the "full" website. Is there Linux client I could use to get around website completely?

@sesivany @zdenek @zoul @mirek Jo, turisticke znacky do osm kresli dobrovolnici (vcetne me). A ano, je trochu smutne ze KCT bere penize od statu, a pak ani nerekne co kde vyznacil aby mohl data prodavat. Ty turisticke znacky by mely byt v celkem slusnem stavu, i kdyz samozrejme pomoc s udrzovanim mapy vitana :-).

@gnuhealth @pine64eu Is openhardware hard requirement? There's espruino.org -- free software javascript framework -- running on banglejs (1 and 2) smartwatch. I would not mind support for that.

@pony It did not take 10 years to find out, but offiical investigation was only ended after 10 years.

@mntmn I'd expect most of the common applications to be light enough these days. How does it do on FlightGear and SuperTuxKart? :-)

@mntmn Ok, that looks even faster than thinkpad x220 (1.82, chromium). Nice. Oneplus6 is 1.12 with firefox. PinePhone with Firefox is 0.3.

@ljs @agx Sounds like a) you are gaming on 32-bit machine, really? and b) those really don't look like valid pointers. (not cacheline aligned)?

@mkyral Monopoly nejsou nikdy dobre. Google zacina byt nebezpecnejsi nez Microsoft. Chrome taky pomalu zabiji adblockery... proste je cas zacit se pomalu hybat k Firefoxu. (A uprimne, chtelo by to tretiho hrace, a je skoda ze browsery nejsou nejak vic modularni.)

@agx Thanks for pointer. Yes, kgx was the problem, and with mate-terminal, things are much more usable.

@agx How is the performance, BTW? I tried doing that with pinephone, and I can clearly tell there's latency between keypress and letter appearing it kgx, maybe 200msec. It happens on internal screen, too, so it is not issue with HDMI or something. VTs (ctrl-alt-f2) are okay. I suspected phosh is just resource intensive?

@dentangle And author's novel is derivative work of all the texts he ever red? Stop this nonsense. Copyright has enough overreach already.

@jlcrawf @techsaviours @lolgzs @Lioh @justin That's really not too good. I assume pinephone can last 4x that at least. It lasts ~100 minutes of heavy use, but the standby time was reasonable.
