@cas Thanks for all the work done OnePlus 6. I was surprised it is as fast as X220... and 6x faster than PinePhone. It currently seems to be most powerful machine I own.

Very nice summary of Boeing situation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8oCilY4szc And surprisingly accurate given it is comedy show.

I'm fighting with internal panel and HDMI output on RPi 4 inside CutiePi. It would be very useful to have more than one boot configuration. Is there good documentation how to do that somewhere?

CutiePI is fun toy. I have Ubuntu where internal display works but not HDMI out. I have damaged original image from Jozef Mlich where both work, but it does not boot. I'd like Debian with both internal and external display.

Greg KH is turning stable commits into CVEs with zero analysis, not even rephrasing the commit message. That is very bad.

@vbabka Thanks for bringing up the stable-rules vs. reality debate. You have longer reply in the email, and yes, it would be good to make the docs match the reality. Somewhere around 30% of patches in -stable do not meet the published rules AFAICT.

I see enough cats here, not too many dogs, but definitely not enough horses. So, who has a horse? And who clicker-trains him?

So now I have bike + joystick controlling supertuxkart. Fun, but still not perfect. It would be cool to have game designed for bike, as tuxkart simply has speed limit for an "engine" and that's not great match for bike.

Proof that speed of light is limited -- https://bgr.com/tech/this-iphone-photo-of-a-bride-shows-a-crazy-matrix-glitch-but-its-easy-to-explain/ . Seriously, phones should really not do this. [Fotka z iPhonu, neupravovana. Povidejte se na ruce, jak je to mozne?] :-)

Hacking device trees is less fun than it should be. Various checks require packages not in Debian; they are in pip3, but they don't work.

#pinephone: Missing anx7688 driver in mainline seems to be responsible for both no charging and no video. That should be first step towards something usable...

[SOLVED] Is anyone flying to from on Wednesday or later? A delivery of fedora ❤️ python stickers will likely arrive in Prague too late for my colleague to pick up on his way to Brussels.

Help us spread the love and bring the stickers to FOSDEM for the @fedora booth (or just boost for reach, thanks).

Does anyone else use CutiePi here? Its a tablet with rpi 4 cm inside. I'd like to get it to work completely; hdmi out and suspend would be useful. Currently, it is running Ubuntu, but software runs something to be desired. Is there something I should try? Best Debian based?
