Two weeks of conferences (with less than 48h home in between) are perhaps too much for me, glad I'm done for this year. Also @ljs 's moaning about head cold caused me to get one too :( (actually, excessive AC in conf rooms)

@brauner @vbabka the jet lag for lsf/mm was bad enough for me. This head cold I picked + digitally infected vlasta with has been what's been most difficult but that can't be helped! Airplanes/airports/etc. are just where these things go to spread.

I wonder what @cwayne (I believe you know him as C-dog Christian?) thinks on this topic?

@vbabka @ljs Vlastimil, have you told the conference folks that this has happened? It seems like they should send out one of those inevitable "somebody turned up positive" emails to the group...

@corbet @ljs yes, told them yesterday, and such email already came for OSS few days ago. But with the timing, and apparently shorter incubation periods of omicron (just 3 days?) I doubt it was at LSF/MM itself that I got infected. Most likely the flights back home.

@corbet @vbabka fyi from my side I tested twice and negative both times so mine is just a cold (likely caught on plane/at airport). Which aligns with idea that vlasta caught this after lsf/mm...
