After about 8 years of progress on my little hobby project[1], the Korean translation of @paulmckrcu 's book, I'm marking it as completed a humble milestone[2]. It was a very fun and informative journey.

@ljs @sj Let's see, SeongJae started translating in about 2016, which was about ten years after I started and about five years after I did my first public release.

So you only have a few more years to wait. ;-)

On the other hand, if you are publishing formally, you might get translated sooner?

@paulmckrcu @sj haha yeah I'm only kidding, given the fact I waffle on and on and on I think our dear SJ would rightfully decide he had better things to do anyway...

Yes am hoping my publisher will help with translations if the book were to be popular enough to need them, which would be hugely humbling!

@ljs @sj Given the topic, I suspect that you might soon have more translations than I do!

@paulmckrcu @sj that's very kind of you to say, I have no expectations on that, would be hugely honoured for there to even be one!

@sj @paulmckrcu Wow, nice! Not only does this help the Korean community, it helps you learn about the phenomenal work done by Paul and the community, as well as writing great documentation. How much do you think you learned about RCU internals during this journey?

@amit @paulmckrcu Pretty much. I was able to start RCX[1] research project all owing to the experience from the translation of the book and some trivial contributions for Paul's artifacts. And RCU is only a small part of the things that I learned from Paul. :)
