@MerriNet @rolle mulle esim. liberaalius on sitä, että jos on joku harmiton omasta kuplasta katsottuna erikoinen juttu, niin antaa olla. se ei oo sitä välttämättä, että haluaisin aktiivisesti manifestoida sellaista. jokainen tyylillään. toisaalta, ei mua aktiivisesti harmita, että jollakin joku itselle vieras suuntautuminen, maailmankatsomus tai muuta vastaavaa, että haluisin aktiivisesti kieltää sitä muilta. mind your own business ja näin päin pois, ei kaikesta tarvii pitää, mut se ei ole sama kuin että ei hyväksyisi jotain, mistä nyt ei satu itse pitämään. mä en esim. pidä punajuuresta, mutta sallin muiden syödä sitä, eikä suunnitelmissa ole perustaa fasistista liikettä, joka haluaa rankaista punajuuren syömisestä.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ion_(window_manager) was written with jed, and i used it for some time while studying because tuomo was participating to the same math classes, and he was using jed at the time (might still use it have no idea). i've been using vim for 23 years but today it feels too bloated, so have been considering to give it a shot again. e.g. i don't like text editor to write code for me (auto-completion, AI, any method) so new features just add more bloat.

@vbabka there is this bluff among extremist that they spread that being liberal means that you have to like every type of weird shit that people do. no you don’t. you can even find it disgusting. it’s totally cool. the point is pretty simple in the end: mind you own business and let it be.

@vbabka it was collaboration, i did only my part, cannot take full credit :-) i mean at intel most of my colleagues were from other countries. so i felt that i supported my ex-colleagues in the corporate world! for instance, i felt that colleagues with russia nationality would be target for this type of unhealthy management.
