Riding horses, hacking computers, phones and smartwatch.
@vagrantc Charging with external charger should be reasonably easy. I have two chinese "clip-on usb li-ion chargers". Or maybe get non-broken pinephone :-).

@etchedpixels So I guess qemu or other emulators in Debian won't cut it, and I should take a look at https://github.com/EtchedPixels/EmulatorKit ?

I use FoxtrotGPS a lot for off-line map displays, but it seems its no longer available in Droidian. What is supposed to replace it?

@etchedpixels So ... what is recommended emulator setup with Fuzix? It seems I really should be using z80... I could get spectrum 3+ (or something like that) emulation working, but that's not really nice setup to use, due to limited screen size and awkward keymap. I guess I could get qemu to emulate 386, but... that's not z80.

@vitaut gcc -O3 should give even nicer output :-).

@mntmn @darth There are some fully open RISC-V cores. You can't really make fully open ARM core.

@vitaut What compiler / -O level?

@dcz @Scotter Saying "Google translate is using AI" is ... basically not useful. You should specify what kind of AI you mean, because AI is very, very broad term.

@oleksandr @vbabka @ptesarik @lkundrak @ljs We do have "ch" as in "chleba", and then accented letters. That's not really sane, either :-(.

@dcz I would find it annoying if git repository name or file name contained czech characters. Fortunately noone does that. Containing chinese, for example, would be .. very annoying. Just don't. I still run system limited to US-ASCII.

@martijnbraam My understanding is that 600ppm is not unusual for cheap, uncalibrated RTC.

Fighting with BangleJS2 smartwatch. It can compensate for clock drift... But according to my measurements, error is on order of 600ppm... which is 10x what compensation app seems to be expecting. OTOH 600ppm is 50seconds a day, and that's in line with drift I was seeing.

@fell @andre_meister @feyo I guess you can train for "is this child" rather easily. Than you can train "is this sex". Should not be too hard, either. And then you use "and". :-).

@joelselvaraj Ok, so not as easy as I expected. OP6 has imx519 + imx376k + imx371, but I guess that's too different from Poco f1. I'll take a look if there are any Poco f1's around , but I guess Librem 5 may be better target.

@joelselvaraj I have oneplus6 here, which should be quite similar. If you feel that would be useful, I can try to setup mainline kernel / current megapixels there.

@kernellogger @vbabka Don't. We'd want open-hardware machines running Linux. It is feasible to put 486sx into FPGA, but not Opteron. Plus, Thinkpad x60 is best notebook ever, so it needs to stay supported.

@joelselvaraj 12Megapixels -- nice. What hardware is that?

@kloenk There's a ton of work in C on aero on bare metal -- but most of the work there is verification, not writing code. Sysgo does a lot of that.
