@tbernard @jimmac Physical size of lens matters when you are shooting in low-light conditions. Sensor size matters a lot, too. There are good reasons why iPhone can't take photos with iso 128000...

@martijnbraam Some time ago you had blog post about how input levels on camera are not nearly linear... and then some bad pictures. So I copied your numbers, integrated it into grw2rbg, and I'm getting some not so bad pictures. At one point, I was implementing autogain for libcamera, but decided merging code into libcamera is quite hard. OTOH autogain and autofocus is quite easy :-). If there's some kind of software autogain/autofocus in libcamera, I may want to try again and get it working on Librem 5.

@pancake Time to look at Bangle.js2 again :-). Just one physical button, but otherwise very similar to Pebble, and you can buy it today. Plus it already has working ecosystem.

@airtower @ashten @ChaosKitsune Help with FlightGear. I'd like to run F-35 simulation :-).

Problem with simulators is that they are very, very, very expensive, if they need to be done right. Plus, fighters execute high-g maneuvers, and you can't really simulate that.

@scops @furilabs FuriOS is like SailfishOS. Not a mainline kernel, unlikely to be long-term maintained. PureOS and Mobian are different. PostmarketOS can do both.

Ok, so I have bayer to rgb conversion. In Rust. Using SIMD. Using unsafe code -- Rust needs that to precompute gamma conversion. Fun.
